Synopsis:

A hilarious tale of overachievers' angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Spelling Bee is a musicals about the unlikeliest of heroes: a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.  The show includes audience participation as members of the audience will take part and try their hand at competing in the spelling bee along with the cast.  The show boasts an award winning creative team including multiple Barrymore award nominee winner Thom Weaver, Barrymore award winning sound designer Nick Kourtides, multiple Barrymore Award nominated choreographer Jenn Rose, costume design by Lauren Perigard and musical direction by Christopher Ertelt.
